U.S. VIRGIN ISLANDS – Governor Albert Bryan Jr. today congratulated President Donald Trump on his victory in the 2024 presidential election, as well as all the national and local leaders who were successful in this year’s elections.

“Elections are vital opportunities to hear the voice of the people and to reflect on their hopes, concerns, and aspirations. As we move forward, we recognize the leaders chosen to guide our nation through this critical time. I extend my heartfelt congratulations to President Trump and to all newly elected officials who will serve our communities in the years ahead,” Governor Bryan said.

He also emphasized the impact of national decisions on the U.S. Virgin Islands: “What happens on the national stage has a direct effect on us here in the Virgin Islands. From economic policy to disaster recovery, the federal government’s choices shape our local realities. It’s crucial that we strengthen collaboration between national and local leaders to address the unique needs of our community, while working together to achieve our shared goals as a nation.”

Governor Bryan concluded with a message of unity and a focus on progress: “Regardless of the political landscape, it is our collective duty as leaders to focus on solutions that enhance the lives of the people we serve. By working together, we can build a brighter future for our territory and for the nation as a whole.”
