U.S. VIRGIN ISLANDS— The Election System of the Virgin Islands (ESVI) is reminding all eligible voters that the 2024 General Election is scheduled for Tuesday, November 5, 2024. Voting will take place from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM at designated voting centers across both districts of the Territory. Voters can cast their ballots at any voting center on their island.

As per Title 18, Section 556, electioneering will not be permitted within 200 feet of any polling place property boundary. Specifically, St. Dunstan’s Episcopal School Auditorium will be hosting school activities on Election Day.
Electioneering will not be allowed at this location until 4:00 PM, when the school day concludes. However, the Virgin Islands Police Department will be on site to place barricades to ensure compliance.
For voters who were unable to vote during Early Voting or who are unable to vote in person on Election Day, Supervisor of Elections Caroline Fawkes reminds the public that absentee ballots are still available. Moreover, Voters or their representatives may request an emailed absentee ballot or an absentee ballot from the Elections System Office.
