U.S. VIRGIN ISLANDS – Governor Albert Bryan Jr. offers heartfelt congratulations to the candidates who emerged victorious in the 2024 General Election. He extends his gratitude to all Virgin Islanders who participated in the democratic process.
In a statement following the election results, Governor Bryan praised the dedication and vision of those who secured the confidence of voters.
“Our democratic process is strengthened by those who dedicate their time, energy, and passion to public service. Moreover, to the successful candidates, I extend my deepest congratulations. Your hard work and commitment to the people of the Virgin Islands have earned the trust of our community, and I look forward to working alongside you as we continue to uplift and empower our territory. Together, we will tackle the challenges and seize the opportunities that lie ahead,” Governor Bryan said.
So, the Governor also shows profound appreciation for the thousands of Virgin Islanders who were bus using their right to vote and are emotional on election results.
“Thank you to every Virgin Islander who came out to vote and made your voice heard in this election. Your participation is the cornerstone of our democracy and a powerful testament to your commitment to our community. By voting, you have helped shape the future of the Virgin Islands and strengthened the power of the people. I am inspired by your engagement and dedication to building a brighter future for us all,” he added.
Governor Bryan also took a moment to offer words of encouragement to those candidates who were not successful in securing a seat. “To those who were not successful this time, know that your efforts and dedication to the people of the Virgin Islands are not unnoticed. Every campaign, every conversation, and every debate play a vital role in shaping the direction of our islands. I urge you to remain steadfast in your advocacy and passion for making a difference. The Virgin Islands needs your voice, and I have no doubt that you will continue to find meaningful ways to serve our community.”
Moreover, As the election season concludes, Governor Bryan reaffirmed his commitment to unity and progress for the territory.
“This election is not an end, but a new beginning. Now, more than ever, we must come together as a community, set aside our differences, and focus on building a stronger, more resilient Virgin Islands. Our shared future depends on it.”
