St. Croix, U.S. Virgin Islands – Yesterday marked a major milestone in the renovation of the Vincent Mason Pool, with contractors beginning the process of pouring over 200 cubic yards of concrete at the site. Government House is thrilled to share this exciting development as the project moves forward in transforming the pool into a state-of-the-art recreational facility for the entire community.

The renovation will introduce key upgrades, including a beach-style entry designed for children and seniors, as well as an ADA-compliant lift to ensure accessibility for all visitors.

Other enhancements include new trees, tiling, shaded huts, BBQ grills, cabanas, and modern playground equipment—creating a perfect space for family fun and relaxation. Refurbished restrooms will also be part of the upgrade, providing a clean and comfortable experience for all guests.

Once completed, the revitalized Vincent Mason Pool will become a central hub for community recreation and gatherings. Government House extends a heartfelt thank you to the Virgin Islands Office of Disaster Recovery and J. Benton Construction, LLC for their invaluable support in bringing this project to life.
