Watch: Movie Star Anthony Mackie Take Students to the Theater

Check out a highlight video capturing an unforgettable moment for students across the Virgin Islands! Through a powerful collaboration with the Tim Duncan Foundation and ViVid Streaming, students in both districts were treated to an exclusive free screening of Marvel Studios’ Captain America: Brave New World — and the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to meet the star himself, Anthony Mackie.

Mackie, who plays the iconic role of Captain America, took time to engage directly with our students during a dynamic Q&A session, answering their questions, sharing words of encouragement, and inspiring the next generation of leaders, dreamers, and creators.

The Virgin Islands Department of Education is truly grateful for the opportunity to be part of this impactful initiative, and we are thankful to our incredible partners for making it possible.
