Heart of the Block: A Celebration of Life, Unity, and Music

On Saturday, August 9th, the Christiansted Boardwalk will transform into a vibrant stage for the inaugural Heart of the Block concert—a free community event dedicated to music, unity, and purpose. This isn’t just a concert; it’s a movement to bring people together and take a stand against gun violence.

Why We’re Coming Together
Heart of the Block was created to honor the life and legacy of Jordan “Dutty Heart” Jones, a beloved son of St. Croix whose life was tragically cut short by gun violence. Jordan was known for his positivity, creativity, and love for the community. This event is our way of turning pain into purpose, raising awareness, and investing in a safer, stronger Virgin Islands.

An Incredible Lineup
The stage will feature a powerful mix of local and international talent, including:

🎤 Gyptian – Reggae Icon
🎤 Pressure Buss Pipe – VI’s Own Reggae Star
🎤 Mr. Easy
🎤 Leon & The Peoples
🎤 Moyann, Prya, De Apostle, and more

Plus, top DJs like DJ Cypha and Supatrakz International will keep the energy high all day long.

Made Possible by Our Sponsors
This event would not be possible without the support of over 30 amazing sponsors, from local businesses to global brands who believe in unity and progress. THANK YOU for helping make Heart of the Block a reality.
