Jed JohnHope is the Co-Founder and CEO of Yellow Cedar and President of Generation Next, an organization dedicated to making meaningful, enduring change in the Virgin Islands. A passionate advocate for the territory, Mr. JohnHope launched mymelee.com in 2007 as a platform for community engagement and innovation.

A former Investment Banker and Professional Engineer, Mr. JohnHope brings over twenty years of experience in the Energy, Manufacturing, Financial Services, and Oil and Gas sectors, with significant work within the USVI. His past employers include Morgan Stanley, the Hess Corporation, Liberty Mutual, and ARCADIS.

Named one of BET’s ‘Blacks on the Brink of Greatness,’ Mr. JohnHope is a native Crucian and an alumnus of the Good Hope School, the University of Delaware, London Business School, and the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University. In his spare time, he is an avid chess player, traveler, and CrossFit athlete.
